Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
Boop Drop ("the game") is made by Techlazz Limited ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game uses, why, and the choices you have. In short: we don't ask for your name, email or any account. Your progress stays on your device. The game shows ads and sells optional items, and the partners that do that for us collect some device information, described below.
1. Information stored on your device
Your progress (scores, gems, helpers, themes, collections, daily gifts), your settings (sound, vibration) and a list of one-time purchases are saved only on your device. We don't receive them. Uninstalling the game deletes them.
2. Ads
The free version shows ads through Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect:
- your device's advertising ID (Android advertising ID, or Apple's IDFA only if you allow tracking);
- your IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version);
- how you interact with ads (views, taps).
Where the law requires it (for example in the EU, the UK and some US states), the game asks for your consent before ads are personalised. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy choices. Without consent you may still see non-personalised ads. On iPhone, the game asks for permission before any tracking, and you can change it in your iPhone's settings.
Buying No Ads removes the ads shown between games. Ads you choose to watch for a reward stay available.
Learn more: How Google uses information from apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.
3. Purchases
Purchases are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store. They process your payment; we never see your card or payment details. We receive only a confirmation of what was bought, so the game can deliver it and restore one-time purchases.
4. Game statistics and crash reports
To fix bugs and improve the game, we use Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics). It collects anonymous gameplay events (for example a level reached or a helper used), crash reports, device and app information and an app-instance identifier. It is not used to identify you and is not sold.
Learn more: Privacy and security in Firebase.
5. What we use information for
| Purpose | Legal basis (EU/UK) |
|---|---|
| Running the game and delivering purchases | Performance of our agreement with you |
| Showing non-personalised ads, preventing ad fraud | Our legitimate interest in funding a free game |
| Showing personalised ads | Your consent (you can withdraw it at any time) |
| Crash reports and game statistics | Our legitimate interest in a working, balanced game |
We do not sell your personal information. We don't use it for anything other than the purposes above.
6. Who receives information
Only the service providers named above (Google for ads, statistics and crash reports; Google or Apple for purchases), who process it under their own privacy policies and agreements with us. They may process it outside your country, including in the United States, under safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long information is kept
Data on your device: until you uninstall the game. Statistics and crash reports: up to 14 months (Firebase default retention), then deleted. Ad data: as set out in Google's policies.
8. Children
Boop Drop is a game for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your rights and choices
- Ads: change your consent in Settings → Privacy choices; reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings; on iPhone, turn off "Allow apps to request to track".
- Your game data: uninstall the game to delete everything stored on your device.
- Access, correction, deletion, objection, portability: depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or US state laws such as the CCPA), you can ask us about the information related to you. Because the game has no accounts, we may need your device's app-instance ID to find it: email us and we'll explain how to get it.
- Complaints: you can contact your local data protection authority.
10. Security
Information is sent over encrypted connections, and we keep the data we receive to a minimum.
11. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above, and for important changes we'll let you know in the game.
